Amber and Tyler | Barrington Hall Engagement Pictures

I love Roswell. I love everything about living here (except for the traffic), but it is such a perfect place for our family; and not only that, it is one of the most beautiful suburbs of Atlanta. I live within 3 miles of almost a dozen wedding venues as well as a handful of beautiful historic homes and other gorgeous locations to take pictures; so when Amber saw First Look pictures from Katie and Kevin’s wedding at Barrington Hall, she thought it would be a perfect location for their engagement pictures! I completely agree!

And speaking of Roswell, I met Amber back in January at a small bridal show here in Roswell. Not only that, she and Tyler are getting married here in Roswell as well! So we met in Roswell, shot their engagement pictures in Roswell at Barrington Hall, and will also have their wedding in Roswell! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next May! I had a great time getting to know them and their personalities at the engagement session. They met working at a bar where they live in Auburn, AL and both go to school there, but I found out that despite going to Auburn, Tyler is an Alabama fan! They brought their sweet pup, Benelli, to the shoot. I told them that I would need them to spell her name for her so that I could add it to the blog and Tyler told me all I had to do was type in “B-E-N” and shotgun and it would show up! Apparently he named her after a shotgun, which is fitting seeing as he loves to duck hunt! I told him about Lance’s boutonniere’s from a couple of years ago that were made from duck feathers Lance had shot. It was really cool and unique!

After Barrington Hall, I asked them if they would like to head over to the Roswell Mill and they were open to anything I suggested! Amber had also seen Jenna and Tanner’s engagement pictures I had shot back in March in which Jenna and Tanner got into the water for their pictures. Amber asked if we could do that with their pictures and I of course said yes! And let’s just say the water in June is A LOT warmer than it was in March! I am so pleased with how wonderful this last set in the water turned out!

 Okay, y’all Benelli is seriously the best dog ever! I love everything about Barrington Hall! The house itself, but also the gorgeous garden area!  Look at that ring! I could do pictures at Barrington Hall any day. I love the backdrop it creates!  And now into the Roswell Mill! It was surprisingly empty when we did their pictures! I guess most people are home at 8:15 at night! But the sunlight is perfect during this time in the summer! Worth it for all of us to get in the water! Let’s just say I walked very slowly so that I wouldn’t lose my balance and fall in with my camera!
