Berry College Engagement Pictures | Berry College | Rome, GA

I went up to Rome this week for Berry College engagement pictures, but this set was very special to me. I have had the pleasure to get to watch Andie grow up over the past 8 years. I first met her as a freshmen in high school while participating in our youth group at our church at Dunwoody Baptist Church. It was fun getting to see her head to Berry for college; and if you know me and follow me, you know that Berry is my alma mater. I have gotten to visit and see Andie over the years at Berry and even stay with her on campus one time!

Andie and Chandler started dating during their freshmen year and have been together ever since. They remind me of Josh and myself (without the breakup). It was so much fun getting to date throughout college and have fun memories of Berry together. I know Andie and Chandler have had the same opportunities: formals and semi-formals, late nights to Waffle House, fun vacations together! Chandler proposed to Andie in September. He was really sneaky in getting it set up! He had a fun date night planned for them and had hers and his family waiting afterwards to meet up and celebrate. Chandler took Andie to downtown Rome for “dinner” but beforehand, he wanted to go walk on one of the pedestrian bridges there to “enjoy the view”. Andie was hungry and wanted to go right to dinner, but Chandler convinced her to go to the bridge first. There he popped the question! Afterwards, they got to go and celebrate with their families.

I had so much fun with their Berry College engagement pictures. I always love going back to my alma mater! We first went to one of my favorite places on campus, the Old Gate of Opportunity. These gorgeous trees make for a beautiful background. I would be devastated if something ever happened to them! There is a pine tree forest behind the dorms that Andie and Chandler live in. I used to work in them as a freshmen collecting pine straw. Little did I know that as a freshmen, these trees that I despised would become an inspiration for pictures one day! While this spot is not an iconic Berry location, I wanted to try out this location; and Andie and Chandler wanted something not iconic Berry feeling, so it was perfect! We changed and headed up to Mountain Campus and to Frost and WinShape Retreat afterwards. Andie and Chandler are getting married at Frost next December, so for their Berry College engagement pictures, we had to include Frost as a stop! We had so much fun at their session! Andie and I discovered that we smile almost the exact same! We both have this sort of laugh/smile when we smile for pictures. I laughed when we took a group pic together and saw how similar our smiles were. I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding next year!
