Epic East Coast Trip | Boston

Our first leg of our trip was to Boston to visit family. We love getting to go up there annually to see our brother and sister-in-law and their (now two) kiddos! Our nephew had been born just three weeks before the trip, so we had a chance to go up and snuggle him and meet him.

Levi loves riding in the airplane. The only place he’s ever flown to is Boston, which has now been 4 times since he’s been born. Flying out of DC at the end of the trip was the first city he’s been in an airplane other than Atlanta or Boston! He’s such a good traveler and as he gets older, he enjoys it more and more. He is so observant and loves looking out the window during the flight. I snapped a handful of pictures of him at the airport in Atlanta and Boston. He loved watching the conveyor belt with the luggage. He remembered seeing a Curious George episode recently where George goes to the airport. Levi calls it the “container belt.” Too cute to correct.

This trip could have also been called the trip of the donuts, as we went to have donuts three different times while on the trip. Our first set came from this new place in Boston that our family found a few months back and now love. They shared their love of these donuts with us and were hooked!

We spent most of our time at home visiting and hanging out with the kiddos, but we did get out a little bit while in Boston. We went to the park one day by the shore which was gorgeous and we went out one day to go to downtown for a fun picture session and of course my favorite cannoli’s of all time: Mike’s Pastry’s. We had a quick trip, but a fun one! We cannot wait to get back up to Boston!

Checking out the bags at the “container belt”.  Look at how BIG these donuts are?! Levi loves his donuts! We had a fun afternoon one day playing at the park by the shore. Such a beautiful day!   Boy that water was COLD! He wanted to get in all of the way and I told him he was crazy! “What you looking at me for Aunt Mandi?” Trip to the railroad bridge just by their house. Levi remembered going last year and had to go again! Our sweet anniversary session at the Boston Public Garden. I have wanted pictures here for years and my sweet friend, Allie, from Allie.Photo came out to take pictures for us. We swapped and I did headshots for her in between her pictures of us.   I love this man so much!During our trip to downtown, we stopped at Quincey Market to eat at one of Mama’s favorite places to eat. This place was the tastiest seafood mac and cheese! Always a favorite place to stop. And I CANNOT go to Boston without going to Mike’s Pastry’s. I stinking love this place. I could eat 3-4 of their cannoli’s while there. Too bad I would get fat and sick!
