Feature Me Friday | Blooming Hites

Last month, I had the opportunity to celebrate with my new friend, Jackie Hites, in the opening of her new storefront for her floral business, Blooming Hites. Jackie is an amazing florist who recently moved from California to Atlanta. I’m so excited for her and her business. Her new space is located in the Historic Roswell district just a half mile from my office. I am excited to get to see more of her around and team up to work with her more.

At the grand opening, I had the opportunity to take pictures for her of the space and the event. I had such a great time. I even got to capture pictures of Jackie’s first official retail sale in her store! I was so excited for her, but also excited that I was able to capture these cool pictures for her. I printed it out and gave it to her to put up in her office.

If you are looking for a florist to hire for your event or team up with for a shoot, Jackie is your gal! Her work is simply stunning. I love seeing her florals and the designs she comes up with. She’s a true talent!

4) What got you into the wedding industry?
I have always loved wedding even as a child I loved dressing up and playing wedding, watching wedding movies anything wedding I loved. When I started in the floral industry wedding really stood out to me because I loved make a special connection with the bride.

5) Who in the wedding industry inspires you?
Wedding dress designers! The details on those dresses are to die for.

6) What is your favorite thing about a wedding day?
I love giving the bride her bouquet

7) If you weren’t working in the wedding industry, what would you be doing?
hmmmm… probably be a dog walker or a personal trainer
