Ponce City Market | Dancing Goats Coffee | Atlanta, GA
I met Adriana and Houston officially for the first time on Friday for their Ponce City Market engagement session. While Adriana and I had talked back and forth on the phone and through text the last few months, we hadn’t met in person yet. She was a referral from her sweet sister who was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot almost 3 years ago for Lauren and Ned. I was so excited when I got her inquiry and read about how she had heard of me. It always makes me happy when my clients come from referrals.
I had seriously the best time with the two of them on Friday! I felt within a short while of starting their pictures that I had known them for years. We were joking and cutting up and having such a fun time at their session. It makes me even more excited for their wedding in October! We started at the Dancing Goats Coffee Bar at Ponce City Market. Houston proposed to Adriana at Piedmont Park, but they started their evening at Dancing Goats, so they wanted some fun pictures there. I love doing lifestyle engagement pictures at places like coffee shops. It’s always so sweet!
From there, we moved their Ponce City Market engagement pictures down the street and actually across the street from Ponce City Market. This location is surrounded by a handful of apartments, but has this beautiful green space. There is also a pond that is really pretty that counters the urban feel that their Ponce City Market engagement pictures provide.
After we finished there, we went back across the street to Ponce City Market and they changed into their formal outfits in which they both looked amazing! I am so glad when my couples dress up for their engagement sessions. It looks so good in pictures and I always say, “You only get engaged once, so do it up fancy!” They almost opted not to do the formal outfits. I am glad they changed their minds, because I am in love with how they turned out.
Their wedding is quickly approaching, so we did their timeline meeting afterwards while chowing down on some yummy Holman and Finch burgers. We finished their Ponce City Market engagement pictures with a couple of fun UGA pictures. Go Dawgs! I mean, it’s totally necessary and perfect for them since that’s where they met, dated, and recently graduated. I can’t wait for their wedding coming up! We are going to have the best time!
Nothing like a gorgeous engagement ring to enhance the coffee! Such a sweet picture. I love the forehead kisses! Look at this stunning outfit! And now time to shout Go Dawgs!
