Ellen and Charles | Roswell Mill Wedding

Two weeks ago, I had the distinct pleasure to shoot Ellen and Charles’ wedding! They had a very small and intimate ceremony at First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs; and afterwards we went up to for pictures for Roswell Mill wedding pictures. I love the history behind this location as it is very special to Ellen’s family. Both her grandfather and her father have both pastored at this church. It was the perfect location for the two of them to get married!

I met with Ellen last month for the first time over lunch and I immediately knew I loved her and Charles and their story. I had the best time getting to talk with her and hear her sweet heart and spirit. I could tell by the way she talked about Charles that she loved him so much. When I finally met him as well, it was apparent that he loved her just as much.

Their wedding was a very small and intimate one that included a few family members and as very small ceremony. I loved getting to meet their families and see how much they love the two of them together. I loved getting to be a part of such an intimate and special day for them. Their love for each other shined just as much as their love for Jesus did. I love it! I felt honored to be among the few who got to witness their marriage. I got to take pictures of Charles opening a very special journal Ellen had written to him throughout their dating relationship. It was so sweet seeing his reaction to the gift and how much time Ellen put into it for him.

After the ceremony and their first dance, we said goodbye to their families and headed up to the Roswell Mill for their couple portraits. It was a gorgeous December afternoon and the weather could not have been more perfect for their pictures! I absolutely LOVE every single picture I got of the two of them! Ellen’s dress is one-of-a-kind and gorgeous! I smile every time I look at their pictures! Thank you Ellen and Charles for asking me to be a part of your special day!
