Shannon and Robby | Arabia Mountain Engagements

Arabia Mountain | Lithonia, GA
I did Arabia Mountain engagement pictures with Shannon and Robby back in December before my most recent leg surgery, but I guess with my December wedding, surgery, Christmas, my birthday, and everything going on, I completely forgot to blog their engagement pictures! I met with them this week for their timeline meeting for their wedding as we are just over a month before the wedding and it sparked my memory that I hadn’t blogged their pictures! I had to remedy this and make it happen, so here we are 4 months later, blogging their engagement pictures!
I had been wanting to do some Arabia Mountain engagement pictures for a while, knowing the location was very pretty through seeing pictures from others, but I had never been there before myself. When I suggested it to Shannon, she loved the idea. She even did some extra research and went out a week or two before the session and figured out where to go and park. When she and Robby went on their own, they decided it was a perfect spot for their pictures!
Shannon found me via Instagram after seeing engagement pictures for Andie and Chandler. Andie and Shannon both went to Berry College just like me, so Shannon saw her engagement pictures that I posted and contacted me! I love it when clients find me from seeing other couples pictures. We had a great phone conversation last spring when she booked me, but we hadn’t met until their engagement session. We immediately clicked and I loved her, knowing we would get along. Her laughter and smile is one that is contagious.
It had been raining off and on all week and even that morning it was raining, but it started to clear up midday and we decided to keep the Arabia Mountain engagement pictures. The overcast clouds made for some pretty skies for their pictures. It was the perfect day! We had such a great time getting to know each other and taking their pictures. I cannot wait until their wedding next month!
I love these sweet moments between the two of them This spot was an interesting part of the granite that was a long cut and flat part that turned out to be a cool spot for pictures. Outfit change and up to the top! I love forehead kisses!
