Cator Woolford Gardens | Atlanta, GA | May 18, 2019
Cator Woolford Gardens is a dream venue! I had shot there for a styled shoot years ago, but Shannon and Robby’s wedding this spring was the first time I had been there for a wedding. Cator Woolford Gardens is a gorgeous venue in Atlanta that provides the most gorgeous backdrop for a wedding.
Shannon originally found me on Instagram from Andie and Chandler’s wedding. We had an excellent talk on the phone and she told me by the end of the conversation that she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. I was thrilled! While I usually try and meet my couples before their engagement session, this doesn’t always happen; so the first time I met Shannon and Robby was at their Arabia Mountain Engagement Session. I immediately loved them! One of the things I loved the most was Shannon’s smile and laughter. She lights up a room when she walks in with her joy and laughter. I told Ben on the way to the wedding that Shannon would be smiling and laughing all day long, and boy was I ever right!
We had such a wonderful time at their wedding. Their entire wedding party was so much fun! We laughed and smiled all day long and had such a fun time together! From getting ready at the hotel to all of the crazy dancing at the reception, we had such a great time getting to know every one of the wedding party. I can see why Shannon and Robby are friends with each of them! I hope to be able to reconnect with some of them in the future for their own weddings!
Cator Woolford Gardens is a perfect venue! It is absolutely gorgeous and I can see why people want to get married here. I did a styled shoot there a couple of years ago, so I had been to the venue, but I had never been to the venue for a wedding, so I was excited to get to be there for a wedding.
Shannon and Robby, thanks so much for having Ben and me join you for your special day! We had the BEST time. I absolutely loved your photo reveal last week and seeing your reactions to the photos and getting to see y’all again. Love to you both!
Robby and Shannon have a love for elephants that is a big part of their relationship. Robby gave Shannon the first elephant when he asked to be her girlfriend and the second one with his proposal. Shannon brought them for the wedding details. I love special touches like this! Robby also made this ring box with his Grandfather for his proposal to Shannon. I love it! The bridesmaids got their own First Look with Shannon and I love their reaction! A sweet hug with Mom before heading to Cator Woolford Gardens Excited to JUMP into marriage! Shannon had a sweet moment with her Mom before the ceremony Robby was beyond ready to marry Shannon I love the variety of spots to take pictures at Cator Woolford Gardens! Sweet moment in the garden together These stairs are why so many couples choose Cator Woolford Gardens! Cator Woolford Gardens with all of it’s greenery is gorgeous! A quiet moment just the two of them to rest before heading to the reception Shannon was the absolute cutest talking to her new in-laws at the reception Lots of fun dancing had by all! This is an epic shot that Ben captured! I love his eye for moments like this!
Thanks to all of the vendors who helped make Shannon and Robby’s a special day!
