Lizzie was a part of my favorite group of students I ever taught. I loved all of my years at AMMS, but this year in particular was one in which I connected the most with the most students. The girls in Lizzie’s class threw me a baby shower when I was pregnant with Levi; and I’ve kept in touch with more of them over the years than any grade. I bawled like a baby when the school year was over.
Lizzie isn’t the first Bond girl I have gotten to take pictures for over the years. When Lizzie was in my class, she shared with me one day that her sister had gotten engaged and that I HAD to shoot her wedding. Well, we made it happen! I had such a fun time taking pictures for Katie and Will’s wedding and getting to know Lizzie’s family on a personal level!
I can hardly believe that was three years ago! And here we are, Lizzie has graduated from high school and going to Georgia College in just a few months. I am so proud of this young woman and how much she has grown over the years. She loves Jesus, is kind, and just cares about everyone. If you know Lizzie, you know what I’m talking about. I am thankful to have taught her and to know her. I’m glad I got to shoot her senior pictures and I look forward to shooting her wedding one day down the road. 🙂
