Stone Mountain Park | Stone Mountain, GA
I had an amazing time last week with Kim and Chad at their engagement session at Stone Mountain Park. After meeting them at a venue open house at Walnut Hill Farms last month, I immediately loved getting to talk with them and hear that she’s a high school math teacher and Chad is a firefighter; and that’s really how they met. Kim has a family of firefighters- her Dad is a retired firefighter, her brother, sister-in-law, and cousin’s husband are all fire fighters as well. Chad is a firefighter as well as his Dad and brother. Chad worked with Kim’s cousin’s husband. Kim’s sister in law worked with Chad’s dad. You still following this?? Well, everyone pretty much talked Kim up to Chad, so he had no choice but to contact Kim and ask her out on date. They had their first date last September and the rest is history!
We had the best time at Stone Mountain Park! I was a little worried we might have to reschedule due to the rain during the day. In fact, I left my house and it was pouring rain; but I looked at the radar and saw it was only one real pocket over Roswell where I was, so it worked out perfectly! We met at the Grist Mill at Stone Mountain Park for the first part of the session and then headed to a spot that I love that I kind of stumbled upon a few years ago when I shot Tawny and Jacob’s engagement pictures at Stone Mountain Park. I love going back to it whenever I am at the park!
Thanks so much Kim and Chad for asking me to be a part of your big day. I loved getting to take your engagement pictures and cannot wait until the wedding day!

I always love the almost kisses! Chad smiled almost every picture! You can really see how much he truly loves Kim!
I love this spot at Stone Mountain Park. You can see the mountain behind them.
And can we talk about the Captain America shirt that Chad is wearing? I love it!
This sunset with the clouds was amazing.
For those of you who didn’t know, Stone Mountain Park houses the worlds largest piece of exposed granite!
And standing at the base of the mountain, we get awesome pictures!
