Christ the King Wedding | Katelyn and Alexander

What an amazing year I’ve had with Katelyn and Alexander! Their Christ the King wedding this December was epic! If you follow me at all, you know that I shoot a TON of proposals in the Atlanta and North Georgia area. Alexander found me back in March for his proposal to Katelyn and we had the absolute best time working together! They were simply the cutest and reminded me a lot of my husband and me at their age. We got engaged and married when we were just 22 and 23, the same ages Katelyn and Alexander are right now. One piece of advice I told them after they got engaged was to ignore all of the naysayers who would tell them they were too young to get married. I know, because I was told that multiple times when I was engaged and getting married! Here I am 16 years later and loving my husband and my marriage more each day!

Before their ceremony, Katelyn and Alexander met for a First Touch. They didn’t see each other, but held hands around a corner and read their personal vows to each other. It was such a sweet moment to be able to capture for them. I loved this sweet moment!

Katelyn and Alexander had an amazing days with their Christ the King wedding, The Whitley Hotel couple portraits, and The Butterfly Pavilion reception. As you look through their pictures, you will see a range throughout the day of the different locations. We had such a fun time taking pictures at these fun locations. I have shot many Christ the King weddings, but The Whitley Hotel and The Butterfly Pavilion were new locations for me!

When you scroll down to see their cake, you should look closely as they had five butterflies on their cake to honor their loved ones who have passed away. I was so excited when I saw their cake was from Cakes by Carissa as she is one of my absolute favorite cake decorators.
