Country Club of the South Wedding | Carly and Andrew

Carly and Andrew had the most amazing Country Club of the South wedding! I loved every second of their day from their gorgeous florals provided by Millbrook Farm flowers to the stunning backdrop for their portraits to the amazing getting ready space for the bridal party to the stunning ballroom for the reception! Seriously, Country Club of the South is an amazing venue to get married!

I have known Carly‘s mom for 9 years through Bible Study Fellowship. I would hear her talk about her two daughters and son when she taught us at Bible study and specifically talked about Carly and her dance career. I was thrilled last December when Elizabeth reached out to me to shoot Carly and Andrew’s proposal at Avalon. From there, they asked me to shoot their wedding, and we got to do their engagement session at Indian Seats on Sawnee Mountain in the spring. It has been such a fun journey to get to take pictures for them during from their proposal to their engagement pictures and into their wedding!

My favorite part of the reception was when Elizabeth did her speech and shared with everybody her text thread between she and Carly on the night of her first date to Andrew. Elizabeth had saved it, printed it off, and framed it as a gift for them. Carly told Elizabeth that she thought she might have found the guy she would marry one day! The whole thing was just super sweet and the fact that Elizabeth had this text message thread and put into a frame was just one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen a mom do at a reception!

We had an amazing time dancing the night away thanks to ATL Groove Factory! I was so impressed with their skill level and how involved they got with the crowd. They even pulled Carly and Andrew up onto the stage along with their family and entire wedding party to dance!
