Green Meadows Preserve Engagement | Jordan and Kevin

Jordan and Kevin met me this weekend for their Green Meadows Preserve engagement session. We emailed back and forth in the weeks leading up to their session to try and pick a date that worked for both of us. We found that Saturday worked, but that we would have to do a sunrise session in order to get them in. I actually love sunrise sessions! The light is so beautiful in the morning and works out great for pictures; but I understand why clients might not want to get up at 5:30am to take pictures at 7:00am!

So funny story, Jordan met me at the Georgia Bridal Show back in 2018. She wasn’t ready to book anything yet, so I didn’t hear back from her for 2.5 years. Normally, most brides book me within 18 months or less of the show, so when she reached out to me in fall of 2020, I was so excited to hear from her! We chatted a bit and she booked me this spring for her wedding this October! I am so glad it worked out! YAY!

I had sent Jordan a list of locations for engagement pictures and she picked a Green Meadows Preserve engagement session. I had never been there before even though it was on my list of locations! I can definitely see why she picked this spot! The field was a perfect backdrop for pictures along with this amazing tree that you will see in many of their Green Meadows Preserve engagement pictures.

Jordan and Kevin met on Tinder around 5 years ago. She said she kept swiping left over and over that she was surprised her finger wasn’t permanently stuck like that… until she saw Kevin. They both swiped right and the rest is history! They are not my first couple to meet on Tinder. Back in the day people would kind of cough/quietly say “Tinder” when I asked how they met as it was a newer app that didn’t have the best reputation quite yet, but not anymore! It’s a very popular and how many of my couples meet! I love it! Gotta love technology today! I wonder how many couples out there nowadays have met thanks to dating apps and companies?

We had such a wonderful time at their Green Meadows Preserve engagement! I cannot wait until their October wedding! We are going to have a blast!
