I very specifically remember meeting Caroline at the Georgia Bridal Show last March. We had a great time talking at the show, so much so that the next day, her mom called me to book me for her wedding! I was so excited that she booked me, and it’s a good thing she jumped on it, because her wedding date was the most popular of the year! I had four different girls contact me later interested in June 4th!

I loved getting to know Caroline and Nick throughout the wedding process. We had a great time last year at their Roswell Mill engagement session. It’s been fun watching Caroline go from a junior in college to graduating with a degree from UGA in photography! That’s right! I took pictures of a fellow photographer! Caroline and Nick just moved out to Texas, so she’s working on finding her photography niche. I cannot wait to see where she goes with her talents!

The wedding day was filled with lots of summer thunderstorms. If you’re from Georgia you know that one can come in and 5 minutes later it be sunny. This is how Saturday went. Thankfully there few random thunderstorms we had throughout the day didn’t impact our ability to take pictures outside nor did it mess up the outdoor ceremony we had planned.

Caroline was simply gorgeous. Everything about her day spoke classic elegance- from the blusher she wore during the ceremony to her her vintage wedding dress with a high collar to their First Dance song to their rose gold rings, I felt like I was back in time in the early 1900’s celebrating their wedding. I loved it all and loved how perfectly it suited Caroline and Nick.

Congrats to the two of you! Thanks so much for inviting Ben and me along on your special day and asking us to capture the pictures for you. We had a great time with y’all!

I love the rose gold rings! Look at that gorgeous dress! Ben and I joined Nick at the hotel for a little bit to get pictures of the guys “getting ready.” You’ll see what their getting ready was… 🙂 …they played video games! I love it! It was so funny. I learned something new about Ben this weekend- he played some of these same phone video games! Sometimes I step in and help out with veils! I love Father-Daughter First Looks! I love this capture that Ben got of me showing the guys a picture I got! OH. MY. GOSH. Caroline is stunning!! Wedding time! I love Nick’s reactions to seeing Caroline! When the officiant tells them to “save it for later” seeing as their first kiss lasted a while… hehe
We snuck outside for a few night time shots. I loved all of the lights they had in the back of the house. Perfect for some night time shots! We just missed the rain, too! It started pouring when it was time to leave, so instead of running and doing the bubbles, we crammed everyone onto the porch and had them do a quick kiss!
