Roswell Engagement Pictures | Roswell Square | Roswell, GA

Tony contacted me almost two months ago about his proposal to Emily. He shared his plans to propose to her the weekend after she got back from a week out of town. Living in Roswell like me, he wanted to propose to Emily in Roswell. He threw out the options of the Roswell Square as well as the Roswell Mill for their proposal and Roswell engagement pictures. We met together and decided that the Roswell Square would be a great spot since it’s usually quiet and definitely more intimate than the Mill. So plans were set and we were ready to go… until Emily got home from her trip and was sick. Like really sick. So much so they had to take a trip to the ER the day he was supposed to propose to her, so we had to reschedule. And THEN no one’s calendars lined up! So poor Tony had to wait another month to ask Emily to marry him! We texted back and forth and found a time that would work for all of us. He was patient and somehow hid the ring and his excitement from Emily for another month.

The day of the proposal, they had dinner The Mill Kitchen and Bar right next to the square. I texted with Tony and waited at the square for them to come out. I hid behind the big gazebo in the square and watched them walk around and talk after their dinner. He stopped at our predetermined place and I hopped out and started snapping pictures!

I love shooting proposals almost as much as the weddings themselves. There is so much real and raw emotion and happiness the day of a proposal. Weddings have that obviously, but there is something about the joy and excitement that comes when she says yes! I just love it! Emily and Tony were all smiles and tears the whole time. And when I did their mini engagement session afterwards, they couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. I just love it and love these Roswell engagement pictures!
