Spencer contacted me for his Frogtown Cellars proposal to Maggie last summer. Somehow I never blogged their proposal, so here we go! Spencer reached out with grand plans to propose in front of a vineyard, but their Frogtown Cellars proposal wasn’t originally going to be there. We had been emailing, texting, and talking on the phone the weeks leading up to their proposal to find out his original spot didn’t allow proposals or professional photography at the location. They took a while to get back to him, so it felt last minute trying to figure out where we were going to do it! I sent him a handful of other North Georgia winery options for what ultimately ended up being their their Frogtown Cellars proposal.
I got to the location early to scope out the perfect spot and texted Spencer a handful of options. He picked his favorite one and I told him exactly where to stand and where I would be in order to make this shot happen! Frogtown Cellars is located at the top of a large hill, so we did the proposal before you get to the restaurant/winery near the parking lot, which worked out perfectly for a private and quiet moment. Plus, as you will see, it provided an amazing view of the North Georgia mountains in the background!
This proposal went off without a hitch, but it was definitely one of those that I had to work extra hard to make happen without her knowing what was happening! Luckily Spencer was smooth and did a great job communicating secretly in order to make their proposal happen without her knowing! We did a sweet engagement session afterwards before they went off to celebrate at the winery. I loved getting to know Maggie and Spencer with their sweet proposal and engagement session.
Congratulations Maggie and Spencer. Thanks so much for having me last summer for this gorgeous session!
She had NO clue! Sweet engagement session after!
