A Love That Rose Out of Hard Seasons
Chrissy and Brad walked through deep loss before they met. Life felt heavy for both of them, and joy felt far away; but when they crossed paths, their lives shifted. They found comfort and hope in each other. Their story grew from pain into peace, and then into love. Their wedding day showed that beauty can rise out of a dark season. I felt very blessed to be able to document their love story and their special day.
How We Met
Chrissy and I met thanks to a referral from a fellow photographer as well as a recommendation in a local Facebook group. Once she saw my name twice and talked to me, she knew she had to book me for her wedding to Brad! I met with her and Brad for their engagement session at Barrington Hall in Roswell a few months ago. It got me excited to shoot their wedding day. I enjoyed getting to know them throughout the whole planning process!
First Look in Marietta Square
The day began with a sweet first look in the heart of Marietta Square. We found a quiet spot where no one was around and gave them a sweet and private moment just the two of them. Chrissy walked up behind Brad with a bright smile, and he lit up the moment he turned around. Their venue is right off the Marietta Square, so we took advantage of the location and took photos around the Square before the ceremony. They laughed, held hands, and soaked in every moment. It set the tone for the rest of the day.
A Private Ceremony With Their Kids
Chrissy and Brad chose a private Glover Park Brewery wedding with only family around them. They didn’t have a wedding party, but their children stood by their sides. One of my favorite parts of their ceremony was the family circle. They joined hands with their kids, pulled in close, and shared a long hug. It was tender, real, and full of meaning. Two families became one right there in that circle. Their “I do” moment felt quiet and rich. It wasn’t about a crowd. It was about their journey, their healing, and the people who mattered most.
A Big Party to Celebrate
After the ceremony, friends gathered for a huge celebration at the brewery. The space buzzed with music, hugs, and laughter. Their reception showed why a Glover Park Brewery wedding is such a great choice—warm lights, open space, and a cozy, fun vibe. Chrissy and Brad greeted each guest with joy that came from the heart.
They danced with their kids. They toasted with family. They hugged friends who stood by them through both the hard years and the bright ones.
