2016 | Best of Engagements | Atlanta Engagement Pictures

One of my favorite things about booking my couples for their weddings is getting to take their engagement pictures. It really helps me add to the client-photographer relationship that I strive for in my business; so for this reason, I offer complimentary engagement pictures for all of my packages that I have for my clients. I love this change I made two years ago and how much it has helped me get to know my couples so much better before their wedding day! Before I added these in all of my packages, the weddings in which I didn’t shoot their engagement pictures ahead of time, I had a harder time feeling like I knew the couple as well. It has been fun taking engagement pictures for all of my couples before their weddings. Plus, it gives them a fun set of pretty pictures before the wedding! I LOVE engagement pictures!

Last year was simply awesome with engagement sessions. There were so many Atlanta engagement session locations that I went to. I went to the Roswell Mill a handful of times (as I always do since I live right near there), but 2016 also brought about some new and fun locations I had never taken pictures of. From going to Grant Park and Ponce City Market for the first time to the amazing opportunity to take pictures at the Georgia Aquarium to heading back to Georgia Tech, Stone Mountain, and Marietta Square, I had such a wonderful time with all of my couples! I even got to go up to Chattanooga for an anniversary session! I love the locations they pick and the reasons why decide to go there. It’s so much fun to get to go to all of the fun and different places!

Most of the engagement pictures posted here paired up with a wedding I shot last year, but I have two engagement sessions in which I will be shooting their weddings this year. I cannot wait to get behind the camera for these amazing weddings!

And I absolutely cannot wait to see where I end up for engagement pictures this year in 2017.

Tawny and Jacob were winners of my 2015 anniversary session. We went to Chattanooga for pictures and had a BLAST! I cannot wait for Katie and Matt’s wedding in March. They were simply the cutest at their engagement session!January engagement sessions can still make for some great pictures in the woods 🙂 It might have snowed earlier in the day and been cold at Dwann and Jacob’s engagement session, but she rocked it in her dress! I mean, come on! This is the Georgia Aquarium!!! HOW COOL!?

Love the graffiti at Krog Street Tunnel! Of course living up here in Roswell, it’s a top of me of Atlanta engagement picture locations that I go to on a regular basis. The Clough building at Georgia Tech’s campus is so cool!  My couples love their graffiti!

I simply adore this forehead kiss with Matt and Shannon  A lot of people forget about Georgia Tech being one of the best Atlanta engagement picture locations!

Sweet cheek kisses from Eric to Laura!  Stone Mountain is one of my favorite Atlanta engagement picture locations! Emily and Josh got in the water for some really cool shots!  Love the laughter and smiles with Angel and Chris! This picture from Allison and Sean’s engagement session was my most liked picture on Instagram for 2016! Rain won’t keep Molly and Austin from taking their engagement pictures!  Foggy morning in Atlanta makes for cool pictures for Kim and Josh!
