2016 | Best of Wedding Portraits | Atlanta Weddings

It’s time for my best of 2016 portrait pictures! As an Atlanta wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite posts of the year. In this post, I include some of my favorite couple portraits from my weddings from last year. I had such a hard time picking just 3-5 from each wedding, because last year ROCKED. I got so many amazing pictures last year! YAY for being an Atlanta wedding photographer! 2016 was my best year yet with the most weddings I’ve ever shot in a year and some of the most awesome clients ever. I seriously smile when I look back at all of the awesomeness that 2016 brought to my business, but especially the friendships I made with my clients. I seriously have some awesome friendships with my brides from last year. Not only that, we shot at some of the most gorgeous venues, almost all of them being brand new to us; got to meet some of the most amazing people including our couples, their parents, their wedding parties, and guests; deliver over 17,000 pictures to wedding clients; travel countless miles; and just had an incredible time doing it all!

I have so many different parts of the wedding day that I love and for different reasons. Couple portraits are one of my favorites as it gives me the chance to get some sweet and intimate shots of my couples together. Whether the pictures are taken before the ceremony after a First Look or moments after the “I do’s” are said, I love the interaction between my couples and the moments that we capture of them: sweet almost kisses, nose snuggles, a smile from the couple, an intimate kiss, a prayerful moment. I am beyond blessed to do that I do. My couples are simply amazing to trust me to capture their day and allow them to relive those memories on camera; so THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients, 2016 and past!

 Caroline is simply stunning  Molly and Austin had so many of these genuine moments of laughter and smiles I loved Dwann and Jacob’s ceremony at Fernbank! Foxhall Resort is a perfect venue as an Atlanta wedding photographer!  A sweet kiss on the cheek with Dwann and Jacob The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a perfect venue as an Atlanta wedding photographer! A moment away from everyone else on this awesome bridge with Shannon and Matt.  Awesome First Look from Emily. You can see her genuine excitement to see Josh! A sweet, quiet moment just the two of them with Carly and George after the ceremony. Some fun portraits on a couch in a field, because, why not?? A quiet moment away from the day to talk and soak in the wedding.
