Anniversary Session | In Your Dreams Farm | Milton, GA
For the past three years, I have held an annual anniversary photo contest with my clients from the year. My couples have the opportunity to collect votes from their friends and family to vote for them to win an anniversary session for their 1st anniversary with me. Last year’s contest was fierce competition between Bethany and Luke and Mayra and Phil. It was so close that I ended up awarding sessions to both couples! Bethany and Luke cashed in on their session this past weekend.
They live in Knoxville, but Bethany’s family is from here as well as some of Luke’s, so they planned a weekend to come down for pictures as well as getting to visit their families. It was so good to get to see them again! Their wedding was last September and it was hard to believe that it had been over a year since I had seen them last. When we were discussing locations, Bethany came up with the suggestion of taking pictures at Luke’s aunt’s farm. She and her husband own In Your Dreams Farm up in Milton, GA. It is a beautiful 120 acre farm with nearly two dozen horses. The land and stables provided for a perfect backdrop for their session. With the fall colors just changing this last week, it ended up being the perfect location for their session!
And of course if you’re taking pictures at a horse farm, you have to use the horses in the pictures! I loved getting to incorporate one of their horses and pony into some of the pictures. It was so much fun! Bethany being a rider in high school knew how to handle the horses and even hop up bareback on one of them for some pictures.
