I met Lisa a year and a half ago when we both volunteered at CURE Childhood Cancer event last year. I was there to help take pictures at the event while Lisa was there to set up a candy and snack table for the attendees to grab on their way out. I took a lot of fun pictures of her awesomely decorated table at the event and had a great time talking with Lisa and getting to know her at the event. Since then, I have met and worked with Lisa on a number of different occasions for personal and business pictures. I took head shots for Lisa and she even helped out at the styled shoot that I planned last month!
I decided to feature Lisa as my very first official Feature Me Friday vendor because she just launched her new re-brand yesterday! Just like I rebranded this year, Lisa did the same thing! She kept her business name, but has a new look and website just off the press for y’all to check out!

Lisa Formaro- The Sweet Trend
2) What service does your business provide?
Candy and dessert tables, custom gift baskets, wedding welcome baskets, and party styling. Meaning I purchase and put together various items to decorate and design the party.

3 years
4) What got you into the wedding business?
I created at table for my best friend’s daughter and loved it. I decided from there I wanted to start my own business doing the same thing and more!
5) Who in the wedding industry inspires you?
I am inspired everyday by the people of this amazing industry. The creatives I meet show me something new and beautiful all of the time.
6) What is your favorite thing about a wedding day?
My favorite part of the wedding day is all of the little details that are personal to the bride, groom, and their friends and family. Something that speaks to all of them and they know when they see it why its part of their day.
7) If you weren’t working in the wedding industry, what would you be doing?
I love all areas of design and styling. If I wasn’t doing it in the wedding industry, I would use it another way!
