Can I tell y’all how much fun Betsy and Brandon are? I had such a great time getting to know them this year. From our new tradition of getting burgers when we are together to my new found obsession with Downton Abbey (on season 2 right now) thanks to Betsy to our common enjoyment of board games as couples, I have just had such a great time with them! My relationship with them is exactly how I hope my relationships with my couples are. I want to get to know them on a personal level so that by their wedding day I know that they love the same board games as me, he loves the play video games, she has pretty much every DVD movie and TV show ever made at her house, and that they love koalas. They are just so much fun to hang out with!
Their wedding day was no different! We had a blast laughing and hanging out all day. Betsy’s laugh is contagious. You will see what I mean. When she laughs, everyone just follows, because she is just so much fun! The love Betsy and Brandon have for each other is evident in their relationship.
The day was simply perfect. September fall weather came in making the entire day wonderful; and the venue?? Beautiful Beginnings Farm is definitely a new favorite of mine! This place had so many awesome and beautiful locations to take pictures. I loved everything about this place. It was simply amazing. I definitely hope to be able to go back again sometime!
Congrats to Betsy and Brandon! Thank you so much for having Ben and me capture pictures on your special day and join y’all for such a fun day of celebrating!
Brandon is a big video gamer, so the groomsmen cufflinks were perfect for him! These are awesome!
Betsy and Brandon exchanged gifts before they had their First Look. Love Brandon’s smile as he’s opening her present!
Now it’s Betsy’s turn to open her present from Brandon!
Who says Dad’s and Grandpa’s don’t deserve First Looks?
Betsy and Brandon’s First Look! We used the door that was set up for the ceremony. It was such a cute and fun way to do their First Look! I just love their smiles as they see each other!
After their initial First Look, Betsy and Brandon read their personal vows to each other. They recited vows during the ceremony, but they wanted to do their own private vows ahead of time. This was one of the sweetest moments I have ever witnessed. I loved being able to capture their smiles, tears, and emotions of the moment.
I just loved the wedding party attire! The colors were awesome. The converse shoes and boots were so much fun. Love how so much of Betsy and Brandon’s personalities shown through their wedding party’s attire!
Betsy put so much thought and detail into every single part of her day. She had a lot of cute detail decorations for the ceremony area as well as the reception area. It was so cute!
Non-traditional flower girl carrying the cutest sign!
Betsy’s grandmother played the keyboard for the songs they sang. She was so cute. She switched the piano sound to something with a “video game” feel to it (which I guess is appropriate since Brandon loves video games!) It was a funny switch up even after Betsy’s Dad switched it back, she went and did it again! Love it!
Bride and flower girl matching boots. LOVE it!
After the ceremony, we had a few minutes to sneak up to this muscadine vineyard for a handful of pictures. I am so glad we went up there! It was perfect! The lighting, moment, location… perfection!
Matching socks and converse! Too cute!
Look at the heels of their Converse! “Mr. and Mrs. Adams!”
And here are all of the beautiful and fun details Betsy worked so hard on!
Oh this cracked me up! So much fun! Party crashers… haha.
SEC family rivalry! Brandon went to LSU and Betsy went to UGA. Love the corn hole set!
Announcing Mr. and Mrs. Adams!
Flower girl checking out the giant Jenga set.
Great speeches from the best man and maid of honor!
I loved watching the two of them laugh while the speeches went on!
They had games set up for anyone who didn’t want to dance. Such a fun idea!
She even made a Guess Who game with pictures of the wedding party and family members! How cool?!
Pies instead of cake at this wedding! So yummy! And course there was ice cream to make it a la mode!
Small cake for Betsy and Brandon to cut. Don’t those berries look amazing?

I love love love this shoot! The couple seems so fun and bright, and you captured this perfectly! Amazing job!
Thanks so much!!
Great job!! And great job with all of your bride and groom posing! I also love that blue stone of the brides. Great creative shots with all of the details! Did you use a flash during the getting ready portion of the bride in the kitchen? Or was that all available light?
Thanks so much Kristen! I have been trying so hard to do more detail shots like the ones from this wedding. The ones in the kitchen are from the natural light and using an 85mm 1.4.
Cool thanks!!
I LOVE the unique details! You did an amazing job of capturing their day!
Yes! She did a great job with all of the fun details! Thanks so much!!
So sweet! Those first look tears are perfect.
🙂
I love how personal you get with your clients! Your burger tradition is so neat!
These images are absolutely stunning. I love the black and white image near the end with the sparklers, and all the fun moments you captured! It looks like such a magical day!
Thanks Kimberly! I have so much fun with my clients! And thanks! My 2nd took that one! He’s awesome!
