Piedmont Park Engagement Photos | Piedmont Park | Atlanta, GA
I had so much fun this weekend with Karley and Reid with their Piedmont Park engagement photos! I met Karley at the Georgia Bridal Show back in January and instantly liked her. We are very opposite in the fact that she is quiet and soft spoken and I’m well… not. But that didn’t matter. I loved how sweet and kind she was in our conversation at the show. We set up a consultation for her and Reid to come over to talk about their wedding at Primrose Cottage this December.
Karley and Reid have a similar story to Joshua and me in dating since they met at Georgia Southern University through a mutual group of friends. For their first date Reid took Karley to the new movie theater in Statesboro where you could dine while watching the movie and they naturally ordered a brownie sundae for dessert. Um… girl after my own heart! Does she know this is my favorite dessert?! Their proposal story is the sweetest. Reid and Karley took a long weekend road trip to Asheville, NC. They had been there before but Karley had been wanting to see the Biltmore decorated for Christmas. They spent the afternoon at the Biltmore Estates winery and walking around the gardens where Reid popped the question!
This year in particular, my couples have requested to go to Piedmont Park engagement photos. You have probably noticed I’ve been there a lot if you follow me regularly. I don’t mind going to these places over and again since it’s where my couples want to go; but I do challenge myself each time I go to a regular place to try and shoot at a new spot each time. Well I pushed myself with Karley and Reid’s Piedmont Park engagement photos. I parked on the opposite side of the park where I normally go and walked the park backwards of what I usually do. I think I used only one spot that I used regularly for my photos. I was so proud of how much I worked to get a fun new set of Piedmont Park engagement photos for not only my couple, but for myself as well.
I am so excited for their wedding this December. Thanks Karley and Reid for asking me to shoot your wedding and Piedmont Park engagement photos. I had so much fun!
