Piedmont Park | The Beltline | Atlanta, GA
This weekend, I had the opportunity to take engagement pictures for Katharine and Brad. We had a blast at Piedmont Park! I have been to Piedmont Park more times than I can count, so this time, I really wanted to try and find somewhere new in at Piedmont Park that I could shoot. Well, low and behold, I found it! When they picked their engagement location, they wanted somewhere with city and greenery, so they chose Piedmont Park. I am so thankful to Katharine and Brad and their willingness to adventure with me. They had never been to the park before, so they were excited to try something new, because all of it was new to them!
I absolutely loved getting to take their pictures. Every second of the afternoon was spent smiling and laughing. And I’m only slightly exaggerating on this one. I loved getting to see them interact and smile with each other. I know that this is just a small glimpse of how great their wedding day will be!
I enjoyed getting to hear more of their love story and how they met. Originally they met through a mutual friend at a random event, but then they really got connected when they both volunteered and worked at a Disciple Now. Brad was interested in Katharine, but she wasn’t quite there in wanting to date Brad just yet. I told them that I feel like so often that’s the case with couples- one has more of a vested interest than the other initially. Brad’s charm, smile, and love for Jesus finally won Katharine over and they’ve been together ever since.
I cannot wait to take their pictures this summer. We are going to have such a blast! Thanks Katharine and Brad for trusting me to take your pictures. You two are truly a light for Jesus, and I am so blessed to get to hang out with y’all on your wedding day!
