Merry Christmas Eve! I’m so excited to celebrate Christmas. First and foremost because we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. I love the reminder that He came to this earth as a baby. He could have chosen to come down in all of His glory, but He chose to humble Himself to come down as a lowly baby.

I’m also excited about Christmas as this is Levi’s 3rd Christmas and his first that I feel he will actually enjoy it and kind of know what is going on. Every morning when he wakes up, he comes downstairs and asks me to turn on the lights on the Christmas tree and loved looking at lights around where we live. He’s getting a bunch of Thomas stuff this year including a blanket that I made for him. I know he’ll love it. I can’t wait to see him open up the blanket. He’s obsessed with blankets right now and calls them “batti’s.” I’m not quite sure I understand it or where that comes from, but I know he’ll love his Thomas “batti” this year!

I went in our backyard this year and took some pictures of Levi for Christmas card pictures. He didn’t want to sit still at first, but Josh was back there with me to help me get his attention and make him laugh. We got him to sit down in the chair by playing his favorite “Levi video” of himself. It’s a video of himself getting REALLY excited that Thomas and Friends was coming on TV. Cracks me up every time I watch it and he loved watching it. Whatever works to get kiddos to smile, right?!

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas everyone! I hope you get to celebrate it with family and friends.
