Roswell Engagement Photos | Roswell Square | Roswell, GA
I met Valerie and David for their Roswell engagement photos this weekend. It was one of those days that we watched the forecast all day and waited to decide to cancel or go for the pictures. It was sunny all day, but the forecast called for rain; but it was supposed to start 30-45 minutes after our session, so we decided to go for it! Leading up to their session, it got super dark and windy, and even rained some nearby, but never in Roswell. I’m so glad we decided to keep their session! I went a little faster than I normally do, because we were waiting for the rain to start pouring on us, but it never did! We had so much fun with their Roswell engagement photos.
Valerie found me on Instagram over a year ago and has been following me ever since. When she and David got engaged in March, she told David that she already had their photographer picked out even before contacting me or meeting me. I LOVE it! She knew my style of photography, but she also knew a lot about me personally from following me. She apologized because she didn’t want to seem like she was stalking me, and I told her, “no! You’re the exact type of bride I want! I love that you have followed my work and are already invested in my work and my life!” So, Valerie not only met me online, but she also met David online! They met like many of my couples do nowadays- through an online dating site. While Valerie went on a couple not-so-good dates in the beginning, David hopped onto the site, found Valerie and the rest is history! David likes to say he was “one and done” with online dating!
While Valerie and David do not live in Roswell, it holds a special place in their hearts, so it makes since that we did their Roswell engagement photos here. David proposed to Valerie in Roswell on St. Patricks Day as his friend, Nate, played the bagpipes. Valerie was so shocked and did not expect it for a second! They also plan to have their engagement party up here in Roswell this weekend and now have had their engagement pictures done here as well! I told them it’s time for them to move up here to Roswell!
These two consider themselves to be big goofballs and so much of their engagement session showed how fun they were. Like seriously- their entire session was filled with laughter, smiles, and silly moments. David blew raspberries on Valerie’s cheek and she laughed continually throughout the session. I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding next spring! We are going to have so much fun!
