If there was ever a wedding that could be visualized as a roller coaster, it would be Taylor and Brad’s! 550 Trackside might not have been their original plan, but they made it work and had the best time in spite of their MANY changes to their day! These two went through so much to get to their celebration this June. In August of 2019, they originally hired me for their Berry College wedding. It’s how Taylor found me by Googling “Berry College wedding.” We discovered our Berry alumni connection and immediately clicked!

They can in town for what we thought would be our only chance to do engagement pictures back in December of 2019. It rained, no POURED, the entire day, so we pivoted to an indoor engagement location at Fernbank which turned out to be amazing! A few months later, we had no idea how much pivoting they would be doing!

They were supposed to get married June of 2020, but of course with the height of everything, they rescheduled. Their plans were then to get married December 30, 2020 at a completely new venue. Basically all of their wedding plans were changed. I’m pretty sure I was the only vendor that carried over to their new date and venue since one was in Rome and the other was in Lawrenceville.

Well, as December approached and things were still unsure, they had to pivot yet again. Many of their family as well as Taylor and Brad were in the Northeast in states that required 2 weeks of lockdown if they traveled out of their state. This made it near impossible to have their wedding down in Georgia, so they changed their venue and date yet again and got married December 12, 2020 up in Connecticut where they lived. It was a small intimate wedding with their parents, siblings, and a few close friends. (Pay attention on the blog today. You will see their June 2020 date, December date, and their June 2021 date on much of their stuff throughout the day.)

Fast forward to June 2021 at 550 Trackside. They FINALLY got to celebrate and have their party they had originally planned for the year prior. They didn’t have a ceremony or anything since they were already married, so you won’t see any pictures of that, but everything in my day as their photographer was the exact same! We got some fun getting ready pictures, they had a sweet First Look, and we did portraits at 550 Trackside as well as McDaniel Farm Park! They had me for 8 hours and since they weren’t having a ceremony, we decided to use that time to drive 20 minutes one way to a pretty park nearby for some greenery and different pictures since 550 Trackside is an old brick train station.

We had a wonderful day and had the best time! I am SO glad it worked out for me to be there to finally capture their 500 Trackside wedding! It truly was such a fun day! Thank you so much Taylor and Brad for having me a part of your fun celebration!
