Engagement Sessions

I absolutely love Hightower Falls. This amazing wedding venue in Cedartown is a hidden gem! My first visit there was for Blake and DJ’s wedding back in 2015! Since then, I have shot there a handful of time and gotten to know the venue owner, Elizabeth, very well. So when Rebecca and Alex were discussing their engagement picture locations, I threw out Hightower Falls once I knew they wanted a waterfall session. We had discussed some options of doing their pictures at a public location to hike to, but with the gorgeous fall leaves and waterfall combination, I had a feeling that we would have to deal with hikers around in their pictures. Plus, Hightower Falls gave us pictures that were more than just waterfall pictures. We got to take advantage of the whole property all to ourselves!

I love how my brides find me. Rebecca found me through her best friend, Shannon. Shannon is a past bride who found me on Instagram after I shared pictures back in 2017 from Andie and Chandler’s engagement session and from there, she booked me. I met Rebecca and Alex in May of 2019 when I shot Shannon and Robby’s wedding at Cator Woolford Gardens. Shannon and Rebecca were very good friends at Berry College (woot woot! My alma mater, too!) and Rebecca was Shannon’s maid of honor in her wedding. I had a wonderful time getting to know Rebecca at Shannon’s wedding. She and Alex were already engaged at the wedding and she told me that I would be hearing from her for her own wedding!

I’m so glad I did! Now I get to shoot their 2021 wedding! I had the best time at Hightower Falls with the two of them! We even rocked it out through the drizzling rain that came and went throughout the session. I cannot wait until their wedding next summer! We are going to have a blast! Plus, I get to see Shannon again since she will be Rebecca’s matron of honor!
