TATE HOUSE | TATE, GA | JUNE 5, 2021
Rebecca and Alex got married at the gorgeous Tate House in Ball Ground in June. While they have had their images since two weeks after their wedding, I never got around to blogging their wedding! So here we go! Time to share their amazing Tate House wedding!
Rebecca found me through her best friend, Shannon. Shannon is a past bride who got married in 2019. She found me on Instagram after I shared pictures back in 2017 from Andie and Chandler’s engagement session; and from there, she booked me. I met Rebecca and Alex in May of 2019 when I shot Shannon and Robby’s wedding at Cator Woolford Gardens. Shannon and Rebecca were very good friends at Berry College (woot woot! My alma mater, too!) and Rebecca was Shannon’s maid of honor in her wedding. I had a wonderful time getting to know Rebecca at Shannon’s wedding. She and Alex were already engaged at the wedding and she told me that I would be hearing from her for her own wedding! I did their Hightower Falls engagement session last fall and couldn’t wait for their wedding!
Because I had shot Shannon and Robby’s wedding already and knew them so well, my brain kept wanting to call Alex by Robby’s name throughout the day! I didn’t do it once at their engagement session, but since Robby was also in the wedding, my brain kept spitting out Robby’s name instead of Alex’s a handful of times. He was a good sport and I made fun of myself a lot for it!
The Tate House has some really cool history including the fact that the marble for the entire house was mined in Tate (the city) in which it is located! I can’t tell you how many people commented on the elementary school made from marble that we passed on the way to the house. No joke- I had at least 5 or 6 people comment in passing about the elementary school! Such a fun little piece of history about the home and the city.
We had the best time at their Tate House wedding! Their day couldn’t have been more perfect. We had so much fun together and got so many great pictures! I’m so thankful for my couples and how much fun we have together at their weddings. From their First Look to the wedding party pictures to the after ceremony pictures to the reception, the whole day was a blast! Thank you Rebecca and Alex for having me a part of your special day. I truly had the best time! I’m glad to finally be blogging your images for the world to see!
I loved Rebecca’s details! I love it when brides do a First Look with their bridesmaids!Time for First Look with Rebecca and Alex! Such a sweet moment. I love their reactions! Look at that gorgeous marble at Tate House! My favorite part of Tate House is all of the variety of locations to shoot! So many gorgeous options! I love the variety of blue dresses! Rebecca told her girls that they could pick what they wanted as long as it was blue and long. I am obsessed with all of these images from after their ceremony! I love it when my current brides come to me from my past brides! These two were so much fun and had the cutest first dance! Such a fun night of dancing!
What a beautiful and fun looking wedding! The bride looks absolutely gorgeous!
