Lauren and Ned | Peachtree City Wedding Photographer

Flat Creek Country Club | Peachtree City, GA | October 24, 2015

This past weekend, I got to go home. Well not really home, but back “home” to where I grew up. Lauren and Ned’s wedding was in Peachtree City at the Flat Creek Country Club. I grew up in Tyrone, which is right next door to Peachtree City (PTC for short for you non-locals 😉 ). I always love getting to go back to my hometown area and pass where I went to high school, worked at Chick-Fil-A for three years, and so much more.

This was my second wedding at the Flat Creek Country Club, and I love it every time we get to shoot there. It is simply gorgeous! The venue spot itself is just stunning with how they have it set up; and who doesn’t like getting to take pictures on a golf course? Because their wedding was in the evening and most of the golfers had gone home for the day, we had most of the course to ourselves without having to worry about being hit by balls or getting in anyone’s way- with the exception of that one guy who hit his ball way off course and came close to the trees we were in!

Lauren and Ned told me at their engagement session that the most important part of their wedding was the reception and that they wanted to have FUN! Well Lauren and Ned’s reception was probably one of the funnest I have ever been to. From Lauren’s Dad taking off his tux coat to reveal his Packers dress shirt (you’ll see it and laugh) to him singing “White Wedding” at the top of his lungs to the final send-off song being “God bless the USA” to the UGA fight song being cheered and chanted as the couple left the reception, I was constantly laughing and cracking up the entire wedding! Lauren and Ned know how to throw a good party and have fun friends that add to that party!

Congrats to the two of you and thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your big day! Ben and I enjoyed capturing it for y’all!

Because when there are macaron’s at the wedding, I have to take pictures with the rings! Always love it when the wedding date is engraved in the ring! Funniest picture of the guys! They requested this shot! Love it! Ring’s a little hard to get on! Everyone needs a good hashtag for their wedding! I LOVED the sweets table! “But first let me take a selfie!” Mr. and Mrs. Ned Colegrove! The bridesmaids are reacting to seeing Lauren’s Dad’s Packer’s shirt… wait for it. And Lauren’s reaction… Here ya go… the back of it is Packers as well. You’ll see! Sweet mother-son moment… …and then they break out the sunglasses and get down! Because every bridal party temporarily gets back into their getting ready robes during the reception! haha!
