Molly met Ben and me at the Georgia Bridal Show back at the beginning of January. Ben talked to her primarily at the show, but I do remember briefly meeting with her and liking her immediately. Come to find out later that week, Molly’s fiance, Austin, is in Bible study small group at Buckhead Church with Ben! Talk about a small world, because when I say small group, I mean small group. They have 5-6 guys who meet weekly together, and with how large Buckhead Church is, the randomness of this connection might be more divine intervention if you ask me. 🙂 Before discovering this awesome connection, Molly told me that she already loved Ben and me and knew that she wanted to have us as their wedding photographers. I am so thrilled we were able to make it happen!

We went on Sunday to Piedmont Park and Krog Street Tunnel for some awesome engagement pictures. Often, on days it’s raining, I look at the forecast and keep in touch with my couple about whether or not we need to reschedule (like today!), but it didn’t rain much during the day and the forecast didn’t call for rain. Even as I was leaving to head down there and it was raining in Roswell, the forecast showed no rain in Atlanta… well it was wrong! It rained on and off, but never too hard during the session. I’m so glad we still decided to meet! We got to use one of my cute clear umbrella’s I bought last year for rainy days; and we got some really awesome pictures thanks to the rainy weather! Plus, this guarantees that it won’t rain on their wedding day now, right?

Ben has never joined me for an engagement session and did for this one, so it was fun getting to have him join us and take pictures as well. We enjoyed some amazing H&F Burgers after pictures at Ponce City Market. I felt very lucky to be able to introduce all three of them to these amazing burgers- seriously, if you haven’t had one yet, GO TODAY. Okay, maybe not right now, but you have to try them! They are so good!

Their September wedding is going to be so much fun! We can’t wait to capture it for you, Molly and Austin!
