A Joyful Peachtree Corners Wedding for Mattie and Andy
A Meaningful Day From Start to Finish
Mattie and Andy planned a wedding day that felt personal in every way. Every part of their day held meaning. From the church where they worship together to the restaurant Mattie helped build with her mom, this Peachtree Corners wedding told their story so well. They had an intimate gathering of their closest friends and family to attend their ceremony.
I met this sweet couple through Andy’s mom, whom I know from my church. From the start, I could see how much joy they brought to the people around them. Their wedding day matched that same spirit. Laughter filled every room. Smiles never faded. Friends and family showed up ready to celebrate them well.
A Beautiful Ceremony at The Corner Gathering
Mattie and Andy chose The Corner Gathering for their ceremony. The location meant so much to them because they attend church there together. They did not just pick a pretty church. They picked a place that already played a huge role in their lives. That made the ceremony feel even more special.
The outdoor ceremony pavilion felt warm and full of love as family and friends gathered around them. Mattie looked stunning as she walked down the aisle toward Andy. His face said it all the moment he saw her. You could feel the excitement and emotion between them during the entire ceremony.
This Peachtree Corners wedding focused less on fancy details and more on what truly mattered. Mattie and Andy cared most about their marriage, their faith, and the people they love.
A Quiet Stop at Peche
Before the reception began, Mattie and Andy made time for something that felt very “them.” They slipped away for a few quiet moments together at Peche. They love going there together and visit often, so it felt like the perfect stop in the middle of their wedding day. They grabbed drinks, relaxed for a few minutes, and soaked everything in before heading to the reception.
They also invited me to join them for a few photos during that time. In all my years of photographing weddings, I had never done anything quite like that before. It felt so unique and personal.
Instead of rushing from one part of the day to the next, Mattie and Andy chose to slow down for a moment together. I loved that so much. Those few minutes gave them space to breathe, laugh, and enjoy being newly married before the big celebration continued. Honestly, it fit their entire Peachtree Corners wedding perfectly. Every part of the day reflected who they are and the places they love most. That stop at Peche added another meaningful layer to an already special day.
Celebrating at Rushing Trading Co.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to Rushing Trading Co. for the reception. This part of the day felt extra personal because Mattie owns the restaurant with her mother. Mattie spends so much time pouring into that space. On their wedding day, the restaurant poured right back into her and Andy. The staff took amazing care of everyone. Guests laughed, danced, and celebrated all night long. The reception had such a fun and relaxed feel. Friends shared stories. Family filled the dance floor. Mattie and Andy stayed surrounded by joy from beginning to end.
A Wedding Full of Joy
Some weddings stand out because of the details. Others stand out because of the people. This Peachtree Corners wedding stood out because of both. Mattie and Andy created a day that felt true to who they are. They chose places that mattered deeply to them. They filled the day with faith, family, laughter, and love. It was such an honor to capture this amazing Peachtree Corners wedding and celebrate alongside these two. I know their marriage will continue to bless the people around them just like they already do now.
