Amy & Dan’s Roswell Presbyterian Church Wedding
Amy and Dan’s wedding day was filled with warmth, laughter, and love—rain and all. Set in the heart of Roswell, Georgia, their celebration was a beautiful blend of historic charm and heartfelt connection. From their intimate morning Roswell Presbyterian Church wedding to the relaxed riverside reception at Roswell River Landing, every moment felt deeply personal.
Built in 1840, the Roswell Presbyterian Church chapel is a piece of Southern history. With its tall white columns, polished wooden pews, and serene atmosphere, it offered the perfect setting for Amy and Dan to exchange their vows. The space held a quiet reverence that matched the tone of their ceremony—simple, sacred, and focused entirely on the commitment they were making to each other.
Early weddings aren’t all that common, but they bring a kind of magic that’s hard to replicate. Amy and Dan’s 10:30am ceremony let in soft morning light through the tall chapel windows. There’s something peaceful and grounding about starting the day with such meaningful intention. One of the unique parts of this day was meeting Amy and Dan in person for the very first time that morning. They welcomed me into their celebration with such kindness, and their trust allowed me to document the day with ease and honesty.
A Celebration Centered on People
What made this wedding stand out wasn’t grand decor or elaborate timelines—it was the people. Amy and Dan spent the day laughing with loved ones, hugging old friends, and simply being present. Their focus never shifted from what truly mattered: the people who supported them, the promises they made, and the joy they shared in the moment. With that, most of their day was focused on spending time with their friends and family. We did a handful of couple portraits, but overall, we spent the most of our time after the ceremony with their friends and family. I loved the intentionality of this.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to Roswell River Landing, a charming venue tucked along the Chattahoochee River. The rain started to come in, but that didn’t stop the celebration. Conversations flowed, laughter echoed, and the newlyweds got to soak it all in surrounded by those who mattered most. Amy and Dan’s Roswell wedding was a reminder of what truly makes a wedding meaningful. Not the weather, not the schedule, not the perfect photo op—but the love, the people, and the quiet, powerful promises made at the heart of it all.
