Anniversary Session | Walnut Street Bridge and Coolidge Park | Chattanooga, TN
Tawny and Jacob got married last year and had one of the prettiest weddings I have ever been apart of. It’s no wonder that they won my first ever Newlywed Contest last year. I was so happy for them that they won the contest!
Last month, we touched base about doing their session. Tawny asked me if I could do pictures last weekend, but I was on my way back from a women’s retreat from Nashville. I knew that the timing wouldn’t work out for me to come down to them, but I had the idea to meet up in Chattanooga for a few hours since it’s on the way home to Atlanta. I shot in the city years ago and loved it, but it had been a while since I been there. Tawny, being a flight attendant, loves to travel, so driving up to Chattanooga for a day trip was an idea she loved. I was so excited they said yes!
The day before, the weather was unseasonably warm and I was so excited, but come Saturday when we took their pictures, the fall weather turned up in full force with lots of wind! It was soooo cold the day we did their pictures, especially on the Walnut Street Bridge! But we toughed out the cold and had a great time. We took a lot of pictures under the bridge mainly because of the wind and bright sun. There was a lot of construction stuff under the bridge, but I worked my magic and took pictures to make it work without it in their pics! They brought their sweet pup, Lexi, who has been a part of the family for six years now, so it was fitting that she joined for pictures.
Happy anniversary, Tawny and Jacob, and thanks so much for trusting me yet again with another session for y’all. Love you both so much! It was so great to see you and get to hang out again!
Perfect fall colors! I just fell in love with the lines under the bridge. The lighting was really harsh at the beginning of the session, so I had us take pictures under the bridge. I love it!Tawny is so adorable! GORGEOUS Tawny! Their shirts match on the wall!
Be on the lookout soon for my second annual Newlywed Contest! I can’t wait for the 2016 brides to get a chance to win a free session!
