The Wheeler House | Ball Ground, GA | September 1, 2019
Stacy and Brent got married earlier this month at The Wheeler House. I shot Amy and Kevin’s wedding last November and Stacy saw their pictures when Julie, Amy’s mom, shared the pictures. Stacy loved the pictures, so she reached out to me earlier this summer after getting my information from Julie. For years, many of my brides came from bridal shows and were personal friends who knew me, but nowadays, I book a good bit of my brides from referrals from my previous brides. I LOVE this! I love making connections from my past brides to my new brides.
I had the best time talking to Stacy the first time we chatted, so much so that she committed to booking me for her wedding to Brent. I was so excited! We had such a fun time getting to know each other in the couple of months leading up to their wedding. I did their sweet engagement session two weeks before their wedding at their home in Cartersville and for a little session on Lake Allatoona. We drank wine and chatted late into the evening about their wedding timeline, but also just getting to know each other! I had the best time getting to know her and her relationship with Brent.
Their gorgeous wedding was at The Wheeler House in Ball Ground, GA. Ball Ground is quickily becoming a small town with a handful of gorgeous wedding venues. I have shot at almost all of their wedding venues in this small town. I actually have another wedding this weekend up in Ball Ground! The Wheeler House has been a staple in Ball Ground for a while and is a gorgeous historic home that has been converted into a wedding venue. From the old house to the beautiful outdoor ceremony space to the additional modern looking barn for the receptions, this venue is a perfect venue for brides who love old historic homes!
Stacy and Brent met through their love of motorcycles. They incorporated so much of their fun motorcycle travels in their decorations for the day. I love how unique their reception was and how much it fit their style! It was evident throughout their entire day, including their cute invitations and save the dates that I took pictures of with their detail items.
Beautiful front porch of The Wheeler House for pretty dress shots such as this one! The bridal suite at The Wheeler House is a great space for the girls to get ready! Sweet Mama helping Stacy get dressed! The Wheeler House gifts their clients the sweet name and wedding date sign in the right picture. What a special touch from the venue! I love how emotional Brent got! Such a beautiful moment! Lots of laughter and smiles!Stacy and Brent’s guests signed this for them and Stacy and Brent placed a lock on it to represent the promises they made to each other. I have never seen anything like this before. I thought it was so cool! So Brent taped Stacy’s ring up like SUPER taped. I had a hard time getting it out of the box and asked Stacy “what in the world is going on here?” She told me that Brent wanted to make sure she wasn’t tempted to wear her ring before the day of. She told Brent the story while they were taking portraits and THIS is the reaction I captured on camera. It was the cutest! Stacy enjoying the use of the swing at The Wheeler House! Gorgeous florals!!! Stacy and her sweet sister and niece I captured these sweet last minute moments after we had finished portraits. These were my favorite of the day! Hugs from lots of motorcycle friends! Hey Julie! 🙂 Dance with Daddy! Rockin’ it out dancing together! Send off to the honeymoon!
Thanks to all of the awesome vendors who helped make their day awesome!
