A Sweet Spring Brook Run Proposal for Robbie and Hannah
A Fun Plan with a Clever Twist
Robbie reached out to me with a great idea. He wanted to plan a surprise proposal for Hannah at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody. I loved the plan right away.
His idea made me smile. Robbie planned to use Pokémon Go to get Hannah to the park. I’m not a Pokémon Go fan myself, but my son loves it. That made the idea even more fun for me. I joked with Robbie that I could say he was helping me as an assistant for the proposal. We could go hunting together after the proposal!
We talked through every detail of the plan. At first, we thought about using one of the trails in the park. The trails at Brook Run Park are beautiful. But they can get busy with walkers and runners. We didn’t want someone to walk right through the moment. So we picked the amphitheater instead. It gave us a little more space and privacy. It also made the Brook Run proposal easier to photograph.
The Perfect Spot at Brook Run Park
The day of the proposal could not have been better. The sun was out and the air felt warm. Spring had arrived at the park.
Hannah walked up to the amphitheater with Robbie, playing Pokémon Go. I sat waiting at the amphitheater as they wandered by. They swung back around with Robbie ready to go! Robbie stopped and got down on one knee. Hannah immediately said yes, but did inform Robbie that she knew he was going to ask her. She still smiled and exuded joy! Moments like that always move fast, but they feel big and full of joy. Hannah said yes, and their Brook Run proposal became official.
I love getting to watch these moments happen. Each one feels special. This Brook Run proposal had such a fun story behind it too.
Spring Blooms and a Mini Engagement Session
After the proposal, we spent time walking around the park for a mini engagement session. Brook Run Park gave us so many great spots. Spring blooms filled the park with soft color. Trees and flowers made the perfect background for their photos. The light stayed bright and warm the whole time. Robbie and Hannah laughed a lot as we walked. They felt relaxed and happy. Those are always the best sessions.
