Primrose Cottage | Roswell, GA | August 16, 2019
Chelsea called me earlier in the summer to talk about Primrose Cottage wedding to Tyler in August. She found me from a Google search looking for a photographer in the area. We had a great time talking and immediately clicked! I was excited when she emailed me back that week to ask me to be her wedding photographer! I always love a Primrose Cottage wedding! This venue is less than a mile from my house, so it’s one of my favorites for that reason, but also because it’s beautiful and a Primrose Cottage wedding is always a well oiled machine. They have it together there and make the couple’s day super easy and of course fun!
Chelsea and Tyler met while they both lived in Athens. While Tyler went to UGA and is an avid Dawgs fan, Chelsea on the other hand went to Auburn and bleeds orange and blue. Their love for their college teams didn’t keep them from starting a relationship, but they definitely have a house divided! Luckily UGA and Auburn don’t play each other every year in the SEC, so they will only have to fight about football every once and a while. They moved to Missouri for a period and have lived in Baton Rouge and Atlanta back and forth for a little while, but they are about to settle in Houston coming soon. They will have to make sure to get some TV channels that allow for some good ole SEC football so they can cheer on their teams in the fall!
Their day was filled with touches of UGA vs Auburn including a koozies, their mascot dogs in the wedding, and a sendoff with pompoms for their Primrose Cottage wedding! Each person got to pick which side they wanted to cheer for as Chelsea and Tyler came down.
Funny story: their wedding was on Friday and on Monday I was walking up to Canton Street for dinner with my kiddos which is a half mile from my house and a half mile from the venue. I found two UGA pompoms and one Auburn pompom sitting on the side of the road! I laughed so hard when I saw them sitting there! I even filmed a quick video of the pompoms on the ground and texted it to Chelsea. Had I been anyone else, I would have just wondered why there were pompoms on the side of the road, but I knew exactly what they were from! My kids have enjoyed playing with them around the house this week!
I had a blast getting to know Chelsea and her girls at the wedding! We had so much fun getting ready and taking pictures. I even got on the dance floor with them at the reception; but if you know me for a while and follow me, you know I typically get out there and dance with the guests! Tyler came up to me and thanked me for getting out there and encouraging the guests to dance. We had a blast dancing once everyone got out there!
Thanks Chelsea and Tyler for inviting me to be a part of your special day. I loved getting to be a part of your special day!
I showed Chelsea and slideshow of pictures from their engagement session we had two weeks prior to the wedding. B R I D E T R I B E Big breath before the First Look! Tyler loved seeing Chelsea! They were a little unsure of a First Look when they came to their timeline meeting.
They ended up so happy that they did one! Probably my favorite portrait of the two of them from the day Such a gorgeous picture of the two of them from their Primrose Cottage wedding. Gorgeous florals! What a great wedding party! The best bridesmaids! Sweet moment with Chelsea and her mom Picture with the pups!
