Brittany and Mike are simply the cutest! I had the best time at their Hightower Falls engagement session in Cedartown. I have shot here a number of times over the years, so when Brittany asked me for some suggestions for an engagement session location with a waterfall with a short hike and a nearby field if possible, I immediately knew we needed to do a Hightower Falls engagement session! This privately owned venue is used for weddings, but they also allow hourly rentals on the property for photo sessions which I have taken advantage of with my clients. I even want to do my own session here one day! My love for this venue started in 2015 when I shot my first wedding there! I cannot believe that was 8 years ago!
I loved getting to know Brittany and Mike at their engagement session. I was hired by their wedding planner Sweet Magnolia Wedding, so I had the chance to get to know them better at their session. I discovered they both lived in New York and met at medical/pharmacy school in New York and they now live where I grew up down in Fayette County! I love where I live in Roswell, but it’s always fun to find little hometown connections to where I grew up. In fact, their wedding is in Fayetteville at Daisy Hill, a gorgeous wedding venue that is newer to Fayette County. I can’t wait until their November 2024 wedding!
