Engagement Sessions

Sarah isn’t just any old client. Some of you may know, but I was a middle school teacher for 7 years in Johns Creek. I taught her back in middle school when she was in the 8th grade! Golly, I think it was probably my 2nd or 3rd year of teaching that I had her in Georgia Studies. I still can’t believe I get to do pictures for one of my old students! Makes me feel old seeing all of my old students getting engaged, married, and some even having children of their own! I’m just so excited that I get to see where she’s come and now be a part of her life in a new and fun way!

Sarah’s parents moved from Johns Creek to the Milton area and bought a stunning horse farm. They live on a beautiful property that allowed me to do some amazing Milton engagement pictures for them. We met right before we went into quarantine back in March for their session. The cherry blossoms were absolutely perfect for their Milton engagement pictures and I couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out! Sarah had specifically requested her parents farm in order to get pictures with the blossoms.

The neighbor across the street had a set of gorgeous trees lining their driveway. They offered this spot for pictures as well! I couldn’t believe that this was someone’s driveway! It was perfect! Between the cherry blossoms and the driveway, we took most of their pictures there and it was a perfect backdrop for the best set of Milton engagement pictures!

Keep Sarah and Miguel in your prayers and thoughts as while 2020 has brought the joy of their engagement, it has also brought sorrow. Sarah’s sister, Martha Ann, passed away last month, and as you can imagine, it has been a very sad time for their family. That coupled with the virus, they have opted to move their October wedding to April. I am so excited for them and my heart breaks for their family at the same time. Please join me in praying for them during this time.

Sarah and Miguel, I am praying for y’all and cannot wait to be there to share in your new date for your wedding in April. Much love to both of you!

See? Amazing driveway! These cherry blossoms, y’all! This is the one they chose for their Save the Dates. I loved it!That ring! So beautiful!  Okay, y’all… 6 feet apart! Much better! ;P They were just so sweet together! Sarah, you are beautiful inside and out! Love you!
