Primrose Cottage | Roswell, GA | June 3, 2017
This weekend was simply amazing. I loved every second of Katharine and Brad’s Primrose Cottage wedding. There were so many sweet moments throughout the day. From Katharine’s sweet tribute to her father to the worshipful atmosphere of the ceremony to Brad’s emotional first dance with his mom, I found myself tearing up behind the camera all day long.
I am still so glad that Katharine’s mom found me on Google and contacted me about Katharine and Brad’s Primrose Cottage wedding. They have been so much fun to get to know throughout the process. We had so much fun at their Piedmont Park engagement session a few months ago; and I have absolutely loved following Katharine’s blog these past few months and seeing her love for Brad, but more importantly for Jesus and how she has been pursuing Him in her relationship with Bradley. These two are beyond in love with each other, but more importantly, they love Jesus and put Him first in their relationship and now marriage.
There were so many sweet personal touches from their wedding day. The flowers were handmade by Katharine using old sheet music from her grandmother. Katharine learned to play piano from mom who learned from her mom, so this was a sweet and really cool touch to the day. You are going to be so impressed with the bouquets and boutonnieres that she made! The belt around Katharine’s dress is made from an old neck tie from her father who passed away 5 years ago. Let’s just say tears were had when she put that on. Katharine’s mom also got her and her sister these sweet bracelets as a sweet reminder of their father.
Primrose Cottage is a gorgeous wedding venue here in Roswell. I have wanted to shoot there for years, but I have never had the opportunity to do so. Katharine and Brad’s wedding is the first of four Primrose Cottage weddings I have this year. I am excited because this location is .6 miles from my house and it’s simply gorgeous and provides some amazing opportunities for pictures. Katharine and Bradley’s wedding was definitely a perfect one at Primrose Cottage.
I can tell you that I honestly have never had a couple with more laughter and joy on their wedding day. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the fact that 90% of their pictures together are of them laughing! Thank you Katharine and Brad for asking me to be a part of your special day. I was blessed to be able to capture these moments for y’all. And special thanks to Evie for joining me as my second shooter to help at their wedding!
What a sweet present from Katharine’s mom! Katharine’s mom putting on her bracelet Writing her sweet note to Brad for his wedding gift When we ALMOST messed up and had Katharine walk by Brad when he was opening his gift from Katharine Like seriously? Look at these flowers! So unique! These two- making me cry behind the camera. I love their genuine emotions and how much they love each other and Jesus Moment right after they walk down the aisle and hug as husband and wife 🙂 When my couples don’t do a First Look, if time allows, I really try and give them 5 minutes after family portraits and wedding party pictures to soak in the moment and enjoy the reality of being married! I love this moment I captured of Brad just joyful and laughing as he celebrated a private moment with Katharine that they were married. See? Tons of laughter and smiles from these two! I love this new trend of donut cakes! Like seriously amazing! Again, more laughter and smiles……and even more. Brad’s wsweet dance with his mom while Katharine held back tears Y’all, Brad is wiping the tears from his mom’s face. I about lost it. Sorry Brad, but I had to post this one. You made this face after the cake AND eating the donut. HA!
