Proposals

I love being an Atlanta proposal photographer! With 17 years of photography experience under my belt, I have years of experience shooting weddings and proposals. Starting in 2021, I started focusing more on shooting proposals and now, I shoot an upwards of 20 a year and love it! One of my favorite things about being an Atlanta proposal photographer is getting to plan with the guys ahead of time to plan the perfect proposal for their girlfriends.

Here are some of my most popular Atlanta proposal photographer locations:

1) Piedmont Park

By far, above and beyond any location I shoot in Atlanta for proposals, I have done Piedmont Park the most! It makes sense as an Atlanta proposal photographer as it gives one of the best views of the city, is a public location (so that means it’s free), and it’s an easy location to plan around. I have shot there so many times that I have various locations and ideas for the proposals. It’s always fun to shoot a Piedmont Park proposal.

2) Roswell Mill

This is another very popular place in which I often shoot proposals. I personally love a Roswell Mill proposal, because I live a mile from here, so it always makes for an easy commute to get to work! But in all reality, it’s also super pretty and a great spot for pictures!

3) Canoe

I shot my first Canoe proposal in 2021 and have continued to do 2-3 of them a year since. If you Google “Canoe proposal” I pop up in a couple of posts, so it’s become a regular place for me to shoot. It’s popular restaurant that provides a semi-private spot which works out great for pictures and having a more quiet location!

4) Rooftop Atlanta Proposals

Two of my top rooftop proposal locations are Ventanas and Hotel Clermont. They both charge a fee to use their facilities, but you get exclusive rights to the space with no one else around with great views of the city in the background. Ventanas is located next to Centennial Park, so you are right in downtown for their location. Hotel Clermont is further out, but still in Atlanta which gives you a pretty skyline view in the background.

5) Millennium Gate Museum

Shooting as an Atlanta proposal photographer, Millennium Gate Museum in Atlantic Station is a beautiful backdrop for a proposal. One of the most affordable private venues to shoot, Millennium Gate Museum provides a gorgeous backdrop for an affordable price.

6) North Georgia Vineyards

While not in Atlanta, less than an hour from Atlanta are a number of North Georgia vineyards that are perfect locations for proposals. I generally do 1-2 a year up at the various vineyards around Dahlonega, Cleveland, Ellijay, and beyond.

7) Atlanta Botanical Gardens

As a private garden that charges admission for regular tickets, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens charges for use of their facility for proposals as well. As an Atlanta proposal photographer, I shoot here some, but not all that often; but when I do get to, I love it! It’s such a pretty location with so many options to shoot here. The gardens also provides an escort around the property to help with the proposal and pictures afterwards.
